Santa Cruz Harbor (F Dock) Meeting Location:

The boat is docked at the F-Dock, at the Santa Cruz West Harbor, on the corner of Mariner Park Way and Atlantic Avenue. Take a left into the Marina and look for the F-Dock sign and the vessel the Velocity. Please check in with the attendant. You can park at this parking lot ($5 per day). For Fishing Trips you can purchase a parking permit. For Whale Watching you will need to bring $4.00 in quarters for the meters. If you are having a problem locating us, please call the office at (831) 427-2334.

Detailed Directions
Please allow yourself extra time for weekend and afternoon trips, as traffic is very heavy in this area, and we cannot wait for latecomers.

From the junction of Hwy 17 and Hwy 1:

• Exit on OCEAN STREET
• Turn LEFT on EAST CLIFF DR
• Turn RIGHT onto SEABRIGHT AVE
• Turn LEFT onto ATLANTIC
• ATLANTIC will end at the Santa Cruz West Harbor
• Turn LEFT down into the harbor parking lot. We are located at F-Dock.

From San Jose:

• Start CA-87 S
• Merge onto I-280 N toward SAN FRANCISCO
• Merge onto CA-17 S toward SANTA CRUZ
• CA-17 S becomes OCEAN ST
• Turn LEFT onto EAST CLIFF DR
• Turn RIGHT onto SEABRIGHT AVE
• Turn LEFT onto ATLANTIC
• ATLANTIC will end at the Santa Cruz West Harbor
• Turn LEFT down into the harbor parking lot. We are located at F-Dock.

From San Francisco:

• Start on US-101 S toward SAN JOSE
• Merge onto CA-85 S via EXIT 398B toward CUPERTINO / SANTA CRUZ
• Merge onto CA-17 S toward SANTA CRUZ
• CA-17 S becomes OCEAN ST
• Turn LEFT onto EAST CLIFF DR
• Turn RIGHT onto SEABRIGHT AVE
• Turn LEFT onto ATLANTIC
• ATLANTIC will end at the Santa Cruz West Harbor
• Turn LEFT down into the harbor parking lot. We are located at F-Dock.

From Monterey:

• Star t on CA-1 N at the interchange of CA-1 AND CA-17 STAY LEFT ON CA-1 AROUND THE SHARP RIGHT TURN AND THEN MERGE LEFT TO EXIT ON OCEAN ST.
• AT THE END OF OCEAN ST. TURN LEFT ON EAST CLIFF DR.
• TURN RIGHT ON SEABRIGHT AVE.         
• Turn LEFT onto ATLANTIC
• ATLANTIC will end at the Santa Cruz West Harbor
• Turn LEFT down into the harbor parking lot. We are located at F-Dock.

Parking is available near the boat's docking area.
 
If you are taking a shorter trip, such as the Scenic Cruise, the Sunset Cruise, or the Whale Watching Cruise, feed the meters for the duration of your trip.
 
If you are taking an all-day fishing trip, you can get an all-day parking pass from the check-in attendant for $5.
