The Velocity set out up the coast on Saturday planning to return to were they had caught 20 Salmon the week before. The long ride was not worth it but on the way home they stopped at Scoots Creek. The 20 passengers caught 10 Salmon in 30 minutes before having to leave for home. The skipper reported that they were fishing in 300 feet of water. The fish averaged 12 pounds They were caught between 180 and 220 feet. Their was a lot of action on board if only for 30 minutes. The weather was great and it made for a nice ride home. Both boats were fishing off Mulligan Hill in 290 feet of water. The fisherman caught the majority of fish at 120 feet The fish ranged from 8 to 20 pounds.
